Well not much is going on in my life. Yes I'm still alive so don't be throwing any parties. I do have news on some things but mostly there isn’t anything really pressing. The news will be separated accordingly:

Christmas:
Wow! I actually didn’t do a ‘Dark Christmas’ story this year! I was just too busy, and in all honesty I couldn’t come up with a good plot (any plot at all). But I did make out like a bandit when it came to gifts! I got a uber fuzzy blanket ( you won’t believe how soft it is) that is a really pretty aqua, my laptop which is a gateway and also came with a case and 2 mice. I also got 50$ worth of gift cards for Starbucks, $5 for McDonalds (they have really good fries!), $25 for Target (which I spent on 2 books: All I want for Christmas is a vampire, and Dead to the world. 2 thins of Pringles, and a new wallet). Also I got 2 new Hara Juku bags, once of which is my purse and the other is my new dance bag. AND! My gag gift for this year was a pink ‘My Little Pony’ pony that is names Pinky Pie (No I have not set it on fire!....yet). And to finish things up I got a candle warmer and a vanilla scented candle! It so rocks! I love the scent of vanilla.

Books: (I’ll try to contain spoilers)
Well I’m currently enthralled in the tangled mess that is the Southern Vampire Books (by Charleen Harris). I find myself wondering what will happen in the next book that I can’t get until I finish the first quarter of my 2nd online class (yes I’m being bribed with books to do online schooling). I’m currently waiting to get the fifth book, and waiting is about to make me die!

Another one of my more recent ventures with a new author would be the book I just picked up ‘All I want for Christmas is a vampire’ by Kerrelyn Sparks. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cheesy!...it’s a romance novel. And I did not know that until I got home and looked at the spine. It is very good, so far (63 pages into it) with a kick but heroin that’s trying to save her best friend while falling deeply in love with a Scottish vampire that is very, very, very, VERY! Hot. I haven’t finished it but I will tell you if I recommend it once I’m done.

Another one of my books would be ‘Kushel’s Avatar’ by Jacqeline Carey. Yes I know it’s the third book, and rest assured that I have read the other 2 books. It is a very good series, not for anyone under 18 or anyone that is not mature (thinking: and I’m reading this series why?). You will find yourself feeling for the heroine in this book when she is risking everything she has in order to save a dear friend that is ‘trapped’ .

Kelley Armstrong is next on my list. With her ‘Women of the Otherworld’ series, Ms. Armstrong has captivated many people, me included, with her characters: Ellena, Eve, Savanah, Paige, and Lucas just to name a few. You even have to find yourself liking the bad guys every once in a while. I really recommend this series to anyone who enjoys stories of vampires, werewolves, necromancers, ghosts, ect.

Patricia Briggs is also very creative with her novels as well. When the main heroine finds that her friends and even her are in deep trouble she’s always the one to step up to bad, but not before taking the door off of the old rusted VW Bug in her back yard, which she uses to piss off the Alpha that lives behind her. Even when she stumbles over something she shouldn’t have, she always finds a way out of it…most of the time.

And finally the last person on my report: Richelle Mead and her series ‘Vampire Academy’. Although it is in the teen section don’t let it fool you, it’s been written so well it’s right up there with the best authors in, and even out of, the US. Rose, the heroine of the book, falls deeply in love with her private instructor at VA(vampire academy). But will Rose be able to pull herself away from her Russian love Dimiri to save her best friend, whome brought Rose back from the dead? I’ve found myself crying in the 2-3 books in this series, because of the real emotions that you feel coming off these characters.

Dance:
Nothing to put here, I’m not going to be in the performance in January because I’m not in the older level. But my dance teachers keep reassuring me that I’m needed because I’m supposed to be the lead girl’s understudy. I only have one thing to say to them: Losers. If they can’t even tell their dancers the truth, how are they ever going to get a pro company going. Oh and for the 2nd time this month I have fallen while trying to turn, and bruised my hip, but this time I think I actually injured it. Oh well.

Life:
Online school. Regular school. Report on Uzbek. Those are the only things really going on in my life right now. Nothing much is going on. But I found out a couple of months ago that I have hypothyroid and I had to be put on medication, and just last week my doctor had to up my medication because it only took me down 1 point. Oh and my Plurasee is back, I can’t remember if I commented on that. It’s where the lungs become inflamed and rub against the rib cage causing pain to breath and eventually do anything. It really sucks cuz I have to be drugged up like a druggy all the time, and the medication makes me tired.

DA Info:
Yes I’ve been gone a long time and I’m sorry, but I gave you that chapter….around 2 months ago. I’m sorry I haven’t found any time to do anything non-school related. I haven’t been able to write, take photography, or even come up with a stock account. On my story I have half of chapter 2 done, and I’m trying to get it done soon so I can put it on here. As for photography and a stock account, all I can say is wait for summer. In the summer or later in the year I’ll be taking a photography class and we have to take a whole bunch of pictures for the class so you should be getting some stuff about then. Also in the summer I’ll try to find time to take stock pictures.

That’s all for now. Your dearest and most tired,
-Aspen

My Life is a Soap Opera - Please Read This

Sun Sep 7, 2008, 2:57 PM
You can thank my friends for the title, they all said that my life is like watching 'Days of our Lives' or something like that.

Ok so I'll start with Monday and work my way down.

MONDAY:
yay! no school! no dance! holiday! I slept in till noon, so that was a very good day.

TUESDAY:
I dislocated my finger in school. It hurt alot when I popped it back in. And this day was going quite well till I got a call from my mother right after first period (geography).

The contence of this call is one that hurts me deeply:cries:, but somehow I knew all along. My mother called me to tell me that she had just gotten off the phone with Verlin, my ex-bestfriend Krishna's mother. And that Verlin had told her some things. So she told me. She told me that every single conversation I've had with my friends, oh my sorry ex-friends!, Carly and Danielle has been relayed to Krishna. And that Krishna was playing stupid and hurt because: "She didn't know why I was mad at her." %$!#%E*&^%)*)*%*^%#%#@!$#W*^%^(^)(*&^(&^$^&%#%^#$@^%R(&^*&$%$#%^E%(&^%*&^#$&$E*(&^%(&^$&^#$&*^%(*%^^^^&$&^R%%$#@####$(*^(&^$*&^%(*&^%*&%$*&%. (just so you know those are swear words)

So now Krishna knows stuff that I trusted to my friends. Stuff that I trusted them to never tell anyone! *mutters* Back stabbing bitches.

So from the call on my day was in the toilet.

WEDNESDAY:
My very best-est friends in the whole wide world both got sick. So I was texting Lisa and Nicole the entire school day checking up on them, since both of their boyfriends were gone.

INSIDE NOTE:
I don't know if I like Nicole's boyfriend or not. I don't think he likes me. :(

THURSDAY:
This day wasn't actually too bad. things ust went as normal...except my friend threw a water bottle at my head and I still have a bruse there(we were playing catch and I wasn't looking).

FRIDAY:
Now this is the most emotional day out of all of them...well maybe not I still think Tuesday takes the cake. But anyways...

So school was going very well, except for that I bombed a quiz in geometry - but that's to be expected. So I went to the library after my 5th period let out (I only go to school 5 periods out of the day) and worked on some of my homework. After an hour I left and walked to the buss stop. (I ride the buss to dance)

About 30 minutes into waiting this guy walks over from the high school, and sits down next to me. At first he just sat there, and then he asked me the time - and I told him - and put my ipod in. And then he asked what time the buss came, and I told him it was supposed to come 15 minutes ago.

Finally the buss came and I got on and this dude came and sat by me. So I played nice, answering his questions when needed and crap like that. And just before his stop came up he pulled out this miny sticky-note-pad and wrote his cell number and homephone number on it. And then asked me if I wanted to go out some time maybe watch a movie or get something to eat. Being nice I shoved the note in my back-pack and looked him levely in the eye. And told him how old I was and said that I'm not looking for a relationship right now. And then just as I finished his stop came up. And he got off. After that the buss ride was fine. 'Sept for this old guy kept looking at me.

When I got to dance things were cool too, my new friend and class mate Megan was there and we talked while I got ready and fixed my shoes(which I still need to sew...along with 2 other pairs of shoes...^^';)

Finally we went into class. And yay for me Krishna wasn't there! And we had Christopal Marquez. He is so freaking amazing. But seriously I was shaking half way through bar. We did an hour and half bar and floor bar class. And then a half hour variation class (he never told us the name of the variation, but I had learned the variation earlier that summer...so he was twice as mean on me :( )

And then the technique class was over. And Christopal asked who was staying for the Pas de Deux class next and I raised my hand...I was the only one in my group. I don't think Christopal was very happy with the other girls.

So I went to Pas de Deux class and was freaking out. My friend Caroline asked me what was wrong and I said this is the first Pas de Deux class I had taken and she laughed at me. She said it wasn't that hard and I would be fine, and that none of the guys would drop me.

All of the girls got to choose which of the 3 guys they wanted to partner with and I chose Rico (he looked the strongest, and Tommy had already dropped me when trying to partner me in improv. class, and Isac already had all the girls fighting over him). Turns out that Rico is a reaaaaaaaaalllllyyy good partner. He never once came close to droping me!

And we did this really cool thing where I went down in a penche' and he held me around the waist and turned me! And we didn't have a problem with that so Christopal told Rico to turn me with one hand. So still down in pinche' he turned me with one hand! The he put both hands back on my hips and I came up into an arabesque and had my arms in 4th arabesque(I think) and Rico- at Christopal's command- took one hand off of my hip and alligned it with mine! It was so fun!

And I really don't mean this in the brag, boost my ego way, because all of the work was pretty much done by Ricco- all I did was turn and hold an arabesque-, but we were like the only couple that could do it! Other than Caroline, Chelsea, and Carly.

It made me feel really good. And I only hit Rico once! I got to close durring a pirrouet and my knee hit his thigh, but it was more like a graze.

So in short I was very happy after Friday.

SATURDAY:
I woke up late, and went to a car show. Yeah my day rocked. They said they had something like 995 cars there, was like their unofficial count. And my grand-pa had a car there so it was awesome cuz when I got tired of walking I just walked back to the car and sat inside. There was a nice breeze so it really wasn't hot at all!

SUNDAY:
I woke up about 10, read a little, carried my homework upstairs, and started on my math(I still have to do 11 problems...but I don't get them so I'm going in for help tomorrow). Then I had some breakfast: buscits and coffee. And then I went to the computer and wrote a 5 page report. Yes it's the second week of school and we were assigned a report. The report actually only had to be 2 pages but the topic I choose- Nicholas Alexandrovich Romanov- took up alot of space. And 4 pages was condenced. I think I left out like 2 sections of his life.

Then I had lunch: Pizza and bread twists. And then BACK TO THE COMPUTER! I had to write a 120 word thing saying why I love to dance, for my mother for some reason. And let me tell you, it's more a pain in the but to write 120 words than 500 words, because you have to make things short- very short.

And then I got on to write this. I think next Sunday I'll clear my account of the pictures I don't like and of people I no longer know (see rant on Tuesday). I'm sorry but I can't do anything Saturday because I have dance. I was lucky enough to be able to get yesterday off because it was only the first week of dance.

Well this is already too long so I'll leave you now. I'll be puting up another journal either later this week or Sunday, which ever I get around to.

Lots of News So Just Read This - Update

Tue Sep 2, 2008, 8:21 PM
Ok so I already wrote this but my computer for some reason erased it so I'm starting again.
_____________________________________

Ok so on a happy note I by some miracle managed to find the file that contains all of my chapters for my stories! yay! so if I can just access that file without courpting anything in it even farther things will be going pretty good! So I'll try to get that and update soon!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

THINGS I HOPE TO HAVE ACCOMPLISHED BY CHRISTMAS:
1-I would like to re-vamp (no pun intended) Bloody Valentine. Changing the plot a little and shortening the story all together so it fits in 1-3 chapters.

2-I would like to re-vamp my gallery. I would like to delete all of the deviations I have that I do not like. This may involve some of the pictures I have.

3-Have a STOCK account up and running with pictures. (I will explain after this section)

4-Have a Journal on all of the people on my watch list. This is for you, me, and the artists on that list. you: so you can see some really good artists if you havne't already heard of them.
Me: so I can remember who does what kind of art.
The artists: So their names can get out.

5-Have a Journal/meme about very good bands that are not very well known.

6-Have a Journal/meme about very good books that I think everybody should read.

That's everything...I think.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

STOCK ACCOUNT:
Ok so as you all know Halloween, or All Hallows Eve as I like to call it, is coming up. And I don't have school on that day(I'm not sure if it's a weekday or not) so I'll be home the entire day, with nothing to do. So I got thinking that that would be the perfect time to take STOCK pictures.

So if I can get my mom to help me with the pictures, costumes, and my hair-makeup. I can take stock pictures! yay!

.....But I still don't know if I'll be able to. I'll let you know if I can.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I think this is everything but I'm not sure. If there's more I'll try to get another journal up with all the info I missed A.S.A.P.
